THE TIP OF THE TONGUE
Created in dialogue with visual artist Michelle Young Lee and her neon work “I am the Signal; You Are the Wave”, and inspired by Theresa Hak Kyung Cha’s text, Dictée, The Tip of the Tongue is a collaborative dance piece that excavates the invisible forces and walls of assimilation we traverse. Part memoir, part movement monument to those who have come before us, it is an unearthing of the unseen, the buried—the physicalization of the ineffable.
